| Refund Policy For our hundreds of satisfied consumers, repeat business is more likely than requesting a refund. However, there have been a few instances in which a consumer called with questions or concerns. Before we will refund any money, we want to make sure that each consumer is using our soap appropriatly. On our Recontamination page, you will find many helpful tips from actual consumers who have written, called, or contacted our sales members to share their own experiences. Each method has been tested by many before being published on our site and offered for public consideration. BEFORE YOU CALL our factory to request a refund of the money you spent to relieve your ailments, follow our checklist. If you have done so and feel that our soap has failed you rather than given you the same relief that it has so many others (see our Feedback page), you can call our factory or email us. Understand that we will ask if you have visited this Refund Policy page and if you have gone through the checklist. |
| Checklist ** Are you sure that your irritation is an allergic reaction to poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac? Often times, the symptoms are similar but in fact the sufferer has a heat rash, allergic reaction to dust mites, or even hives. ** Have you washed all items potentially contaminated with our Poison Ivy Soap? Try washing all of your clothing, bedsheets, pillow cases and other fabric in regular contact with your skin as directed on our Recontamination page. Then wash it again in hot water and dry on high heat. If there were dust mites, there won't be anymore. Make sure that these fabrics are not in contact with any other fabrics until completely laundered. When you have placed them into the washing machine, remove your clothing and wash up past your elbows with our Poison Ivy Soap until you are able to shower completly with our Poison Ivy Soap. If it was in fact urushiol that has caused your situation, this will prevent recontaminating surfaces and other fabrics. ** Have you identified the source of the poison ivy, oak or sumac? Sometimes, these sneaky plants grow among innocent foliage. They might be hiding in the bushes by your front door or among other plants in your yard. Check out our Education page to see what these plants look like. We have had customers who were unaware that plants they always had in their yard were the cause of all of their woes. ** Is your area of concern, the area that seems to be worsening, on your hands or the soles of your feet? There could be two reasons for this: First, the palms of the hands and soles of the feet are thicker than skin on other areas of our bodies. It may take longer for an irritation to reach its peak in these areas. Also, if you have failed to remove even the smallest amount of urushiol on any surface you are in contact with, you could be unintentionally recontaminating yourself and your home. Retrace your steps to figure out what items you have left out and re-treat frequently touched items. If you have followed all of this advice and still feel your irritation has been caused by poison ivy, oak, or sumac yet our Poison Ivy Soap has failed to help at all, give us a call. We may ask that you submit proof of your irritation, such as a statement from a health care provider or photos of your skin. We don't want any consumer to be unsatisfied with our great product, but we also want to make sure that our soap is used appropriatly. Also, please note that our refund policy applies to consumers who use the soap. All sales to distributors are final and billable. If you are a distributor and have received negative feedback from a user of our Poison Ivy Soap, please refer that user to this page. In almost every case, the user has had unintentional recontamination that is easily resolved by following the same cleaning method as recommended to us by our many customers or the rash has proven to be caused by something other than poison ivy, oak, or sumac. |
